Türkiye’nin bölgesel gelişmelere yönelik ilgisinin çok uzun bir geçmişinin bulunmadığını hatırlatan YDH Genel Yönetmeni Alptekin Dursunoğlu, bölgedeki yerel aktörler üzerinde abartılacak bir nüfuza sahip olmamakla birlikte Türkiye’nin bölgedeki “Direniş” ekseni ile “ılımlılar” ekseni arasındaki ilişkileri kolaylaştırıcı rolünün önemli olduğunu vurguladı.
